GPTLS, LLC Selected to provide shuttle transportation to Las Vegas’ premier visitor event
LAS VEGAS, October 25, 2012
Between December 6 and 15, 2012, the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) will be returning to Las Vegas’ Thomas & Mack Center. It is the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world, drawing in a crowd of 170,000 people.
Each year of the event, WNFR provides a complimentary and convenient hotel to venue shuttle service for its attendees. In 2012, the shuttle will include over 20 host hotels and Cowboy Christmas, to be held at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitor Center.
GPTLS, LLC has been appointed to managing the shuttle transportation for its sixth consecutive year. Projected shuttle passenger ridership is 125,000 for the ten days of the event. In order to provide seamless shuttle service, GPTLS will partner with several local transportation companies. “We want to keep the revenue we receive within the community and using only locally based companies is the way we do it. At a time when bus and livery companies are normally very slow, GPTLS uses a lot of vehicles and keeps them busy for a third of the month.” says Herb Warren, CEO of GPTLS.
For event attendees planning to utilize the WNFR shuttle, the buses will run continuously each day, during the following times: 5:00pm – 7:00pm for the pre-event shuttle, and 9:00pm – 10:30pm for the post-event shuttle.
